In the Legion of Super-Heroes, Kara is struggling to cope with the loss of Krypton and her new life on Earth. Superman mentors her and suggests she attends the Legion Academy in the 31st century. There, she makes friends but also encounters an enemy in Braniac 5 and must face a dangerous group called the Dark Circle who are searching for a powerful weapon at the Academy's vault. Despite Superman's concern for her inexperience, Kara joins the Legion but finds herself in the middle of a deadly scheme. With the help of her new ally, Brainiac 5, and the rest of the Legion, she must save the future. The movie, directed by Jeff Wamester, features talented voice actors and offers decent animation, a straightforward story, and plenty of action. However, the movie is labeled inaccurately as the focus is more on Supergirl than the Legion and lacks excitement or imagination. It is a watchable film, but nothing special.
